Trip to Turkey

Sharing an email to my dad about a possible trip to Turkey:

hey dad!

i don't know if mom told you about our final project for the Turkish Cultural Foundation? to make a long story short, it went really well and they even had us re-present it for the chairman of the board. anyway, they sent us an email today extending an invitation to tour Turkey for 2 weeks. we will have to cover the flight going to Istanbul & coming back to the US but they will cover the land expenses once we're there as well as lodging. the foundation actually gives educational tours to public school teachers from the US and so we will be joining them this summer.

there are three different tour dates through out june & july so i will discuss with my group which is most feasible for us. i will also have to ask my internship supervisor if i can leave for 2 weeks although i don't think it will be an issue. i will also check with the international student services office if there's any paperwork needed for me to re-enter the US. we will also have to apply for visa's to enter Turkey. i hope i get to go...!!

that's my news for now... will let you know the details once i have them. one of my groupmates is already looking up flight schedules. i have attached the document sent by the Foundation on the educational tours as fyi.
