This I know for sure, that I haven't met a dad funnier than mine. Not everyone gets it though, in fact, I only started appreciating it a few years ago. 

Me: Ey, i'm making shanghai fried rice

Bf: Really? I'll ask my driver to go over there so you can send me some

Me: Noooooo!

15 minutes later, driver arrives

Me scooping rice in a container (grumble, grumble)

Me: This will prove his love for me. If he says its good, then that's how much he really loves me

Dad: Or it can prove how good a liar he is.
