Yaya Story #1

Facts:
Maxine last drank milk at 10am.
Maxine fell asleep at 1pm woke up at 5pm.
Maxine cries when her yaya changes her diaper bec she takes too slow.

Yaya is changing her diaper. Maxine cries. Yaya carries her and tries to feed her while shes still crying. Yaya says to me "ma'am inaantok pa si maxine nakapikit eh."

Me: Yaya meron bang umiiyak ng nakadilat ang mata? Kakagising lang nya eh panung inaantok pa sya? Gutom siya kasi kanina pa siya huling kumain.

Yaya: Ah ganun ba?

How did this happen to me?? This is just 1 of the many small stories i have about my new yaya. The yaya who says she's super galing and super experienced. The yaya who said that she's handled 3 kids at 6mos of age who didn't have any qualms about getting a new yaya. They immediately fell in love with her daw. Ngayong lng daw sya nakatagpo ng ganito. Mashado daw matalino si Maxine. So medyo tanga yun mga alaga nya dati?

I'm so tired.
